Ingredients

Cupcakes

  • cups flour
  • cups baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries (chopped)

Buttercream

  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup strawberry puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat oven 350°F, line cupcake pans
  • Whisk dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt)
  • Beat butter + sugar 2 min, add eggs + vanilla
  • Alternate dry/wet ingredients, fold in strawberries
  • Bake 14-18 min, cool completely
  • Beat buttercream: butter → sugar → strawberry → vanilla
  • Frost cooled cupcakes
